True Report – Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2021
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains the conditions under which you can cancel a diagnostic test booking on TrueReport.in ("we", "our", "us") and how refunds are processed. By placing a booking, you agree to the terms laid out below in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
1. Cancellation by Customer
- You may cancel a booking up to 4 hours before the scheduled sample collection or appointment time without incurring any charges.
- Cancellations made within 4 hours of the scheduled time or after the phlebotomist/technician has arrived on site will be treated as a late cancellation.
- No‑show or late cancellation fees (if any) will be deducted before processing the refund.
2. Cancellation by True Report or Partner Lab
- In the rare event that we or our partner lab have to cancel or reschedule due to technical, logistical, or medical reasons, you will be notified immediately.
- You may choose to accept the new appointment slot or request a full refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
- Prepaid Bookings: Eligible for a refund subject to this Policy.
- Pay‑at‑Center Bookings: No online payment is collected; therefore, no refund is applicable.
- Service Fees: Convenience or home‑visit charges (if any) are non‑refundable once the phlebotomist/technician has been dispatched.
4. Refund Process & Timeline
- Upon a valid cancellation request, we will initiate the refund within 2 business days.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method — UPI, credit/debit card, or wallet.
- Banks or payment gateways may take an additional 5‑7 business days to credit the amount to your account.
5. Partial Refunds
If you cancel only a part of your order (e.g., one test out of a test package), the refund will be processed for the cancelled portion after deducting any applicable discounts that were linked to the complete order.
6. Non‑Refundable Situations
- Wrong or incomplete information provided at the time of booking that results in service failure.
- Repeated attempts by the phlebotomist/technician that are unsuccessful due to the customer unavailability.
- Any sample that has already been collected and processed.

To initiate a cancellation or refund:

Our customer support team operates 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. IST.
8. Policy Updates
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on this page. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your consent to the updated Policy.
